say it aint so... Basque give up right of independent homeland
The E.T.A. has offered a permanent cease-fire but the Spanish government has rejected it on the grounds that they still want a independent homeland.this ceasefire shouldn't be rejected and the calls for referendums of Basque autonomy and Independence should come to happen this is obviously alright for it to happen in Africa(south Sudan).plus since Europe is basically becoming of federation why not allow the Basque to have there one little homeland provided it followed within the rules and guidelines of E.U.Membership.besides the point Spain isn't like the most centralized nation it sits on the brink of having a decentralized government and soon it may well be a ward of the world bank or china since it seems eager to let china buy its "junk" bonds so it can fend of the real likelihood of having to take the dreaded IMF austerity package. So ask yourself why should a people who have been struggling for independence for forty years be required to suffer austerity brought on my a irresponsible government which they have opposed for forty years. Spain should take this cease fire seriously because the time may well be ripe for a new ETA revival.
